Garuda of the Enders (Part 2)

Hi everyone!

Another week, another conversion. Today it’s time to finish the conversion from Aleph’s Garuda to Jehuty from Zone of the Enders.

Last time I showed the basic structure of Jehuty already assembled, with its sword and everything. After that, I modelled the head, adding the antennae and the fin ears, also the shield on its left arm. Once done, I modelled the air intakes on its chest and the small thrusters next to its knees:

Putty blob on my nail, trade marked 😛

My first intent was to leave the miniature that way, but after thinking about it, I modelled its shoulder armor to give the model more volume on its upper half:

The pointy ‘feet’ were also done here.

As a finishing touch I primed it (which I had to finish with my brush due to a unfortunate accident with my aerograph):

Before painting it, I added some detail to the shield and the sword, those were too plain otherwise.

So far with this conversion. Next time you will see this Garuda of the Enders will be once it is fully painted with my Alephs army’s scheme of color, but I’ll try to get as close as possible to Jehuty’s original colours (colorblind’s word xD). Next week I’ll start with something never seen and that I’ve allways wanted to do. Do you want to know what is it? Then tune in for next week’s post!

‘Till next time!
